PBS American Experience: Trail of Tears

Thnaks to my buddy Lee, I was reminded of an excellent program earlier tonight.  PBS has done 5 episodes of their program American Experience where the subject matter is the Native American experience.  Episode 3 tells the story of the Cherokee struggle to stay in their homeland and their forced movement west along the Trail of Tears.  My only beef with the program is that they use the Chief Vann house as Major Ridge’s home instead of his real house in Rome, Georgia.  Other than that it is an excellent program.  KUDOS to PBS for putting it’s programs online :  http://www.pbs.org/video/video/1101800846/subject/957382747.  PBS please keep up the good work.
