Ah, Williamsburg

Colonial Williamsburg, I love the place.  Three out of the last four years I have been there over the holidays.  In fact this year I plan on doing a holiday special here on my blog highlighting Colonial Williamsburg during the holidays.  Keep your eyes open for that one.

So why am I talking about Williamsburg?  Well, I found out this week about a neat event taking place in the town of Williamsburg in October.  October 16-18, 2009 there will be a Military History Weekend at the Hospitality House which is located between the campus of William and Mary and the Historic District.  The event is sponsored by W. Britain,  Osprey Publishing, and Casemate Publishing.   Reenactors, book and miniature dealers, special talks and tours; seems like a lot of interesting stuff for those with a passion for military history.  You can find more information about the event here.  Also, if you decide to attend let me know; I’d love to put up a photo or two (or three) from the weekend.
