Today is June 6 – the anniversary of the Allied invasion of France during WW II.  Here is a link to the Army’s information / memorial page.  A few years ago I visited the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia.  Bedford, a tiny community, lost the highest percentage of the communities soldiers during the invasion than any other community.  Check out their website here.  Meanwhile, I’ve decided to post a few pictures from my trip to the memorial.  Enjoy the pictures and in your own special way remember the soldiers that endured sacrifice and hardship on our behalf.
